Leadership Mentoring
Luncheon
NASA civil service and contractor senior managers will share leadership lessons from the nation’s space program. The Leadership Mentoring Luncheon will feature tables of engineers seated with an industry manager, engineering CEO, or nonprofit executive. Participants will have the opportunity to dialogue with the leader at their table and network with each other. The same leadership skills that safely fly the Space Shuttle and International Space Station, and are returning America to the Moon, will be made available to you, for you to apply to the responsibilities of your career. A guided discussion will help facilitate the conversation. An engaging and motivational keynote address will encourage participants to apply their leadership skills in a rapidly changing world. The keynote address will be followed by a question and answer session.
Nonprofit
Leadership Coaching
Nonprofit executives will share their years of experience and wisdom related to their leadership of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. In many cases, lessons learned will be applicable both to NSBE Alumni chapter operations and first tier management responsibilities such as lab management.
Technology
Leadership Coaching
A successful industry technology leader will share his experiences in turning his ideas into physical realities within NASA’s Return to the Moon program. It is the ultimate achievement for a technical professional to have a vision that results in a new company direction or hardware/software development. Lessons learned will be applicable both to NSBE technical projects and technical track engineering career opportunities.
