Most NASA Centers have been supporting NSBE for several years now through active participation in the Career Fair. However, the NSBE-Houston Space Chapter would like to invite each NASA center to increase its NSBE involvement by encouraging its employees to establish NSBE Alumni Extension (NSBE-AE) chapters at their respective centers and by supporting those chapters once established.
These chapters would be composed of civil servants and contractors of your respective centers who would join the NSBE Alumni Extension. Our goal is to help establish a NSBE-AE chapter at every NASA center within the next five years.
¨ This would be a NSBE Alumni Extension chapter geographically based at a NASA center, targeting the civil servants and contractors assigned to that center location for membership.
¨ Chapter activities should be consistent with the mission of NSBE, but should also reflect the mission and nature of the NASA center, as well as the Agency as a whole.
¨ The chapter would interact frequently with other nearby NSBE-AE chapters, while also conducting activities of specific interest to NASA employees and contractors.
