Chapter Logo Contest

The chapter logo contest has concluded.  View all official chapter logos here.

Help design the official logo(s) for the NSBE-Houston Space Chapter!  We need logos for our letterheads, shirts, and other chapter publications.

Rules

·        The logo must uniquely identify the chapter

·        The logo must be aesthetically appealing and appropriate for display on either letterheads, clothing, brochures, or a combination

·        The logo must conform to all NSBE rules regarding the display of the NSBE logo

·        If the logo contains NASA symbols, or any variations thereof, it must adhere to any relevant NASA regulations

How to Win

At the July 15 chapter meeting, the chapter will vote on all entries submitted.  Each chapter member may vote for as many entries as he or she likes.  All entries receiving a 60% or greater vote will become official chapter logos.  The winner will be the logo receiving the overall greatest number of votes.  More than one logo can be selected as an official chapter logo, but there will be only one contest winner.

Important Dates:

April 11                        Chapter logo contest begins

July 15 (noon)              Last day to submit chapter logo entries

July 15                         Chapter logo vote

The Prize

The prize will be conference registration paid for one regional conference, either the 2003 Region V Regional Leadership Conference, 2003 Region V Fall Regional Conference/Professional Development Conference, or the 2004 Region V Spring Regional Conference – the winner may choose which conference the prize is to be applied towards.  The winner will also receive a free NSBE-HSC denim shirt.  (NOTE:  If there is more than one official logo, the denim shirt may or may not carry the winning logo – the Finance Zone will determine all paraphernalia designs, including that of the denim shirt.)
